Director Cody McClintock has produced various projects offering a glimpse into worlds often hidden by the mainstream. McClintock’s directorial debut, ‘Corazon Vaquero,’ is collaboration with his father, western saddle maker Garry McClintock and renowned Baja photographer/explorer Eve Ewing.
****** ****** ****** In 2003, Cody McClintock- along with filmmaking cohorts Lance Bauscher and Robert Dofflemyer- edited and produced the film ‘Maybe Logic – The Lives and Ideas of Robert Anton Wilson.’ This documentary provides a fundamental look into the life and philosophy of one of America's most important and marginalized literary giants and went on to win Best Documentary-Audience Award at the 2004 San Francisco Indie Fest. McClintock and ‘Maybe Logic’ co-producer, Lance Bauscher, then founded the Maybe Logic Academy , an online university and counterculture hub. Both the film and the Academy continue to serve as hallmarks to the Robert Anton Wilson Universe and beyond. In 2005, the duo collaborated on a video presentation of Robert Anton Wilson's ‘Wilhelm Reich in Hell.’ ; This ambitious stage adaptation was captured using 6 different cameras and cut into a courtroom circus manifesto exploring Wilhelm Reich's “crimes against humanity”. In 2006, McClintock and Bauscher produced and co-directed MONSTER DUDES, a documentary short exploring the life of a 5-year-old noise rock drummer and his father from Boise, Idaho. MD is currently on the festival circuit. Cody McClintock currently lives and surfs in San Francisco, California. Cody is also an avid artist, musician, and horseman.
